These Terms and Conditions govern your booking and participation in tours operated by Jungle Life Costa Rica, located in Bijagua de Upala, Alajuela, Costa Rica. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms.
1. Bookings and Payment
Bookings can be made through our website, WhatsApp, or email. Full or partial payment may be required to confirm your reservation, depending on the tour and group size.
2. Cancellation Policy
We understand travel plans can change. We ask that cancellations be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour time whenever possible. Please contact us directly to discuss rescheduling or cancellation of your booking.
3. Assumption of Risk
Our tours take place in a natural rainforest environment and involve walking on outdoor trails. While our trails are flat and accessible, natural terrain carries inherent risks (uneven ground, wildlife, weather conditions). By joining a tour, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow your guide's safety instructions at all times.
4. Health and Accessibility
Please inform us in advance of any medical conditions, mobility limitations, or special needs so we can help make your experience as comfortable as possible. Our trails are accessible to children, seniors, and people with limited mobility, but we recommend contacting us if you have specific concerns.
5. Wildlife Viewing
Jungle Life is committed to ethical, respectful wildlife viewing. Animals are observed in their natural habitat and are never caged, baited, handled, or disturbed. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, as we are observing animals in the wild.
6. Weather and Force Majeure
Tours may be rescheduled or modified due to weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control, for the safety of our guests. We will do our best to notify you as soon as possible in such cases.
7. Photography
Photos and videos may be taken during tours for promotional purposes on our website and social media. If you prefer not to be included, please let your guide know at the start of the tour.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
